Hicksville Public Schools was the recipient of 72 backpacks and school supplies from donations collected through the Rotary Club of Hicksville South. The presentation of backpacks and school supplies took place at the organization’s closing ceremony of the “Bright Beginnings” 2022 backpack project on Aug. 31. The program was supported by community leaders, representatives of community organizations and Rotary leadership.
