Queens man arrested in stabbing

Nassau County Police arrested a Queens man on Monday, May 2nd, after he allegedly stabbed a man in a Plainview parking lot.

According to police, officers responded to a 911 call at 7 pm for a man who had been stabbed in the parking lot of 170 Express Street.  Upon arrival, officers found a 42 year-old victim with a severe laceration to his abdomen. According to police, Ruqiang Xu, 53, of Queens, who was still at the scene, was responsible and placed under arrest. Police say the victim and Xu knew each other.

The victim was was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Xu was charged with Assault 1st Degree.
